PRIVACY POLICY

Legion TD 2

1. Introduction

Ninja Kiwi Americas, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Legion TD 2 (the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.

By playing Legion TD 2, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not play the Game.

2. Who We Are

Company: Ninja Kiwi Americas, LLC

State of Incorporation: California, United States

Privacy Contact: support@autoattackgames.com

For GDPR purposes, Ninja Kiwi Americas, LLC is the data controller for the limited data described in this policy.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

  • Name (first or last)
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Postal or billing address
  • Payment card or financial information
  • Government-issued identifiers

Authentication and payment processing are handled entirely by Valve Corporation (Steam) or Epic Games (Epic Games Store). We do not receive or store your credentials, payment details, or personal profile information from those platforms beyond a platform-assigned user identifier (see Section 4).

4. Information We Do Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Game:

4.1 Platform User Identifiers

When you log in via Steam or Epic Games, we receive a platform-assigned user ID (e.g., a Steam ID or Epic Account ID). This identifier is pseudonymous — it is not directly linked to your name or email address by us. We use it to:

  • Associate your game progress, match history, and statistics with your account
  • Enable multiplayer matchmaking and leaderboards
  • Prevent cheating and enforce our Terms of Service

4.2 Gameplay and Match Statistics

We collect gameplay data generated during your sessions, including:

  • Match results (wins, losses, game mode, duration)
  • In-game actions, unit selections, and build statistics
  • Playtime and session frequency
  • Leaderboard and ranking data

This data is used to operate game features (rankings, replays, stats pages), balance and improve the Game, and detect cheating or exploits.

4.3 Crash and Error Logs

When the Game crashes or encounters an error, we may automatically collect technical logs, which may include:

  • Error type and stack trace
  • Device type, operating system, and game version
  • Session identifiers at the time of the crash

Crash logs are used solely to identify and fix bugs. We do not use them for marketing or advertising purposes.

4.4 No Advertising or Analytics SDKs

We do not integrate Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDK into the Game.

5. In-Game Purchases and Microtransactions

Legion TD 2 offers optional in-game purchases through Steam and the Epic Games Store. All payment processing, billing, and financial data is handled exclusively by Valve Corporation or Epic Games under their respective privacy policies. We do not receive, process, or store any payment card information or financial data.

We do receive confirmation from the platform that a transaction was completed (e.g., that a specific item was purchased), which we use to credit your account with the purchased item.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following purposes and legal bases:

  • To provide and operate the Game, including matchmaking, leaderboards, and account management (Contractual necessity / Legitimate interest)
  • To maintain game integrity, detect cheating, and enforce our Terms of Service (Legitimate interest)
  • To diagnose and fix bugs via crash logs (Legitimate interest)
  • To analyze aggregate gameplay patterns to improve and balance the Game (Legitimate interest)

We do not use your data for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

7.1 Platform Providers

Steam (Valve Corporation) and Epic Games operate the storefronts and authentication systems. Their collection and use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

7.2 Service Providers

We may engage third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, server infrastructure) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

7.3 Legal Obligations

We may disclose data where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ninja Kiwi Americas, LLC, our players, or the public.

7.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain your gameplay statistics and account data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Game. Crash logs are retained for a limited period (typically 90 days) sufficient to diagnose and fix the reported issue, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

If you request deletion of your data (see Section 10), we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it by law.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

10.1 GDPR Rights (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the GDPR or equivalent legislation:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Right to Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

Because we do not collect your name or email directly, we may need to verify your identity via your Steam ID or Epic Account ID when processing requests.

10.2 California Residents — CCPA, CPRA, and CalOPPA

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA):

Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for collection, and whether we sell or share it.

Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.

Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No opt-out is required, but you may contact us to confirm.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.

Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

CalOPPA Disclosure: This privacy policy is posted prominently and discloses the categories of personal information collected and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared. We honor Do Not Track ("DNT") browser signals to the extent technically feasible for browser-based features; in-game data collection is not affected by browser DNT signals.

To exercise your California rights, contact us at support@autoattackgames.com. We will respond within 45 days (extendable to 90 days with notice). We do not charge a fee for up to two verifiable requests per 12-month period.

California residents may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.

11. Children's Privacy

Legion TD 2 is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at support@autoattackgames.com.

12. International Data Transfers

Ninja Kiwi Americas, LLC is based in California, United States. If you are accessing the Game from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

For transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms recognized under applicable law.

13. Third-Party Services

The Game integrates with Steam and Epic Games for authentication and payments. These platforms operate independently under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Steam (Valve Corporation) and Epic Games before using those services. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party platforms.

We are not responsible for any community-operated services such as Discord servers, fan wikis, or forums that are not operated by us.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this policy and provide notice through the Game or our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Your continued use of the Game after the updated policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
